Profoundology
It's obvious (at least to me) that I use my blog as an opportunity to let out some creative energy. That's really the only time I blog. Who has time to blog for recreation? I have found over the years, that venting to another human in the verbal sense is fruitless. Nobody can fix our woes. Nobody can solve our problems. Taking a verbal dump so to speak, on someone else, only adds to our stress and discouragement about whatever it is we're venting. It effectively, makes a larger mountain out of a mole hill. And it certainly isn't lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy. "Thank you for allowing me to leave a dark cloud over your head!" I used to believe that it was vital to rely on the arm of flesh when I felt the need to lay down my burdens. Fruitless!!! Yet through trial and error, I have discovered that when I instead drop to my knees, and pour it all out to my Heavenly Father, only them am I empowered to face my troubles with strength. Only then am I blessed with a peace that defies all understanding. Only then do I feel like the true, complete me. Isn't it amazing? Then, once that's done, I find it somewhat rewarding to take that pent up energy, and turn it into something creative. Whether it's writing, photo-ing, poetry, or making something cute or useful, it just seems to put the finishing touch on my healing process of the moment.
So what then, you may ask, do I talk about with the people in my life? Well...hopefully...SOMETHING VERY FUNNY!!!!
Here is an insightful tidbit that I LOVE and WISH TO IMMEDIATELY IMPLEMENT, from the aforementioned book I am reading.
Fable
Speaking and acting according to our feelings is always the right thing to do.
Fact
If our feelings are not right, then expressing and acting upon them won't be right either.

The Best Bonds
I participate in an awesome Mother's group. It is filled with intelligent, righteous women who are each a beautiful influence for good in my life. They meet together every week (I show up when I can make it) and discuss many uplifting subjects that are most valuable to my life and the Season that I am in. I have learned so much from them already. I feel empowered to be a better wife, mother, homemaker, and daughter of God. (If Enrichment ran like it should, this is what it would look like.)
There are several books we are reading throughout the year. Each week we discuss several chapters of one of these said books. I have found them all fascinating. The depth and insightfulness of the comments these women come up with blows me away. Anyway, there is one book in-particular which I am LOVING! It is the answer to many hours of prayer. I think everyone on Earth should read this book!

Yet another deeply inspiring book by the Arbinger Institute! Over the past few years, I have read each of their other books, but somehow this one eluded me. WHY!!!!? I ask myself!!! WHY!!!?? Maybe the timing wasn't right. At any rate, I'm thankful for this gem of information that has come like a billboard from Heaven.
Fire On The Mountain
The other evening, we were just sitting down to dinner when we noticed lots of smoke coming out of the South. We headed out to the deck for a closer look. Sure enough, lightening had started a fire on the mountains just South of us. The smoke made the twilight look awesome, so I hung around and caught some pix.
Next we went into town to see how the fire looked from there. You can see it in the mountains behind the city.

And one more just for fun.

A Little Random Cuteness
The great part about being the baby, is you ALSO get to be everyone's doll. Big sister especially takes great pleasure in playing dress-up this cute little stinker.
Moof was having a not-to-happy day of the month. So I suggested she find something creative to do, to let out some emotion. She took my advice and sewed this outfit. No pattern! And she whipped it out in just a few short hours. Amazing!
Who says playing in the tub is ONLY for bath time?
This was so adorable. She climbed up on my bed, pulled the friend magazine off the night stand, and was absolutely absorbed for a good 15 minutes.
These People May Look Harmless...
Here it is, the proof you've all been asking for! Girls night, all night, over-night, multiple-nights. You women are CRAZY! That's all I can say. I hadn't laughed so hard in a looong time. It started out harmless enough with dinner at some fancy, shwancy restaurant...
..where they bring your steak out still mooing, and you cook it yourself as you go along. Despite the way this looks, it was actually pretty tasty, and very interesting. The salads were amazing! And the fondue...delish!
After dinner, we caught a movie, and then headed to this awesome vacation home for a very late night of laughing and visiting, followed by a little sleeping. Those of you who know of my nocturnal tendencies will be SO proud to hear that Debbie and I managed to stay awake the longest...5AM! We're nuts I know. Thanks for the fun chat Deb.

Things started getting crazy with Tami and Sherrie in a full out leg wrastlin' brawl. This was hilarious! I tell ya...crazy they are.

At this point, we were instructed by our host that what happens in Santa Clara, stays in Santa Clara, so the camera's got put away and I juuuust can't seem to remember what happened after that. (Maybe because it was so blasted late). Anyway, fun times with the homegurls. Thanks ladies for a memorable weekend!
